WaterSupply
The Reeder Reservoir is our main water source. With drought conditions increasing we should be working on maximizing this important city asset.
The city of Ashland has a number of studies and proposals in their records, but that hasn’t turned into a clear strategy for increasing water storage. Their conservation efforts over the past 10 years have been spectacular. Now might be the time for some reservoir enhancements.
Last year our water restrictions prompted conservation measures on Sept 23rd. It looks like we are in for more of the same, if not worse conditions in 2021.
