Eastview Trail

The Eastview Trail is a lightly used 8 mile out-and-back trail off of Toleman Creek Road before you get to the Four Corners.

Driving

– A 20 minute drive from Ashland Plaza. Head south out of town on Siskiyou past The University and Ashland Street until you hit Toleman Creek Road. Turn right and drive another 10 minutes into the mountains. The road will shift from asphalt to dirt occasionally but, before you reach the Four Corners parking area – even before you reach the Bull Gap turn off to the left – you will see a giant clearing to the right, and a trail head to the left.

Parking

– Pull to the right onto the giant gravel parking area. They did lot’s of logging in 2017 so there is a HUGE clearing.

The Trail

– The first 2 miles is for dog walkers. It’s a shady fire road with lots of poop on it. If you’re a careful jogger, it’s also not bad. But then, it becomes a single track trail. A great hiking trail with mixed pine and fir and a steeper grade for the next 2 miles. It crosses the Bull Gap fire road and continues up to the Bull Gap mountain bike trail and the Ashland Loop road(maybe it’s the Forest Service #600 road?) near Bull Gap.
