The Buck Prairie Winter Trails are 30 miles of trials at the top of Dead Indian Memorial Road 17 miles are exclusive to x-county skiing and snowshoeing.  Theres a bunch.

Driving 

– Drive up to Howard Prairie Lake and turn right before you get there.

Parking

– Hope the snow plows have been there. It’s a snowy lot.

The Adventure

– The upper area is for psychos in great shape who want to x-country ski for 3 hours.  The II section is for weird hippies with dogs mostly. The Southern Oregon Nordic Club maintains these trails and they have all the info. Go check them out here.
